The Healthy Club Committee at Roche Emmets have organised a Couch to 5K in conjunction with RTEs Operation Transformation.

Over 50 participants have signed up and have been training three evenings a week since mid January with the goal of completing the Fitzer 5k on February 26th.

The Couch to 5k runners are coached under the watchful eyes of Club members Brian McGuinness, Noel Litchfield, Denise Murphy, Arlene Stalley and Wanda Quigley. We would like to thank all our coaches for their time and their expertise.

On Friday night Peter Fitzpatrick TD and Chairman of the Louth GAA County Board joined the runners to put them through their paces in preparation for the Fitzer 5K.

The Healthy Club would like to thank all our participants and good luck to you all in your 5K challenge.
