Best of luck to underage star Liam McCabe as he bids for glory in the Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup in Budapest, starting today.

Liam and his older sister, Lisa, will be in action, aiming to return medals for Team Ireland over the next three days.

A talented all-rounder, Liam scored 9-21 for the U13 boys this year, including 4-3 in the championship victory against St. Bride's.

He was also part of the U15 team that faced Sean O'Mahony's/Dowdallshill/Na Piarsaigh/Dundalk Young Irelands in their championship on Monday night.

The rangy Faughart lad is also a top-class soccer player, captaining Bellurgan United U13s and featuring for the Dundalk Schoolboys League squad.

Meanwhile, younger sister Sophie has a huge future ahead of her too, having starred for the U12 girls, U11 boys and U10 mixed group already in 2021.
