The junior ladies boosted their championship hopes with a battling victory away to Mattock Rangers on Friday night.

Goals from Shauna Finn and Dearbhla Begley were the crucial scores in a tight fixture with last year’s junior championship (first-team grade) winners, while Erin Dooley, Lauren Briscoe and Caroline O’Neill were others to get in on the scoring act on more than one occasion each.

The team take on Glen Emmets/Naomh Máirtín in their fourth championship fixture on Friday night seeking to make it three wins in a row.
