The junior ladies had a fine championship victory away to Newtown Blues on Friday night, keeping alive their title hopes.

A comprehensive display, the visitors were in fine form in front of the posts with five of the starting forwards getting on the scoresheet, including 16-year-old Lauren Briscoe, who added to her budding reputation with 0-3.

First-team finisher Shauna Finn chipped in with 1-3 from centre-forward as Sarah McArdle, playing at midfield, hit 0-3.
