The ladies' first-team have been drawn to face old foes Stabannon Parnells, St. Patrick's and Cooley Kickhams in this year's senior championship.

A tough-looking Group Two, it's the second season in succession the girls have been pitted against Parnells and Pat's in the preliminary phase, winning both of the 2020 encounters on their way to a second semi-final appearance in as many seasons.

The team last faced Kickhams in the '19 semi-final, going down in spite of giving their all and having previously pipped the Fr McEvoy Park side in the qualifiers.

Despite a difficult recent run of results, Gerry Curran's charges will be bullish about progression given two of their four Division One victories came against Stabannon and Cooley, the latter being a remarkable triumph on a number of levels.

The draw in full:

Group One: Clan na Gael, Newtown Blues, Geraldines, St. Mochta's

Group Two: Roche Emmets, Stabannon Parnells, Cooley Kickhams, St. Patrick's

Group Three: St. Kevin's, St. Bride's, St. Fechin's
