St. Joseph’s vs Roche Emmets

The U11 boys had 13 different scorers in Saturday’s ultra-impressive defeat of St. Joseph’s at Cluskey Park, Dromiskin.

Some of the passing, movement, support play and finishing were of the highest calibre as the lads hit the hosts for 8-11, 4-10 of which came during their wind-assisted second half.

The boys kept their discipline too in the face of some stiff tackling, while they defended excellently, conceding just the one major.

Even more noteworthy about the display was how high the players’ energy levels were on the back of a week of action at the club’s Cúl Camp.

Victory will also have tasted sweet for coach Evin Quigley, whose grandfather, Paddy Cluskey, the Joe’s field is named in memory of.
