Our U13 boys trained on Templetown beach on Friday night as they step up preparations ahead of next month's championship.

While missing seven or eight regulars from training, 14 hardy bucks descended on the Cooley peninsula for a hard session.

The lads were up and down hills, sprinting and turning on the sand, doing plenty of ball drills and finished with a game of full contact rugby before going into the sea for a dip.

Some of the fellas even reached the border in the Irish sea... Brexit et al!

It was a great night's craic and rumour has it one of the lads conked out while playing on the PlayStation later in the night...
