Roche Emmets 4-14 Dundalk Gaels 1-5
Our junior ladies got back to winning ways at Páirc de Róiste on Friday night as they brushed aside Dundalk Gaels’ fledgling first-team with a composed display.
Following last week’s heavy loss in Hunterstown, Emmets were determined to earn their third victory at the fifth attempt and the outcome never looked to be in doubt with eight different registrars over the hour – underage duo Erinn Dooley and Lauren Briscoe finishing with an impressive, combined total of 2-6.
Indeed, nine of the 19 players on the night are still U18, another positive sign for the future and hopefully a portent of what’s to come in this year’s minor championship.
