Our U10 players travelled to the Cooley Kickhams GFC for their 2nd Regional Blitz of the season this evening. Roche fielded two teams against opposition from Cooley Kickhams and Dowdallshill. Considering Roche had 11 regular team players missing due to holidays and injury, there were some really great performances, passing movements, tackling and goal keeping efforts on display by all our players who took part. A special mention has to go to our U9 players (Darren Murray, Ryan Keenan, Mark Mc Court, Eoin Clarke and Tiernan Ward) who all stepped up to the U10 level for their first time this evening to enable Roche to field two teams. Thank you to all our coaches, parents and guardians for making the trip out to Cooley and supporting our players. And a special thank you to Cooley Kickhams for hosting the blitz on a last minute request.
